We think that getting off of fossil fuels is fairly a straight forward process. Yes, it will take years and we will need to make some sacrifices, but there is a fundamental principal that is rarely considered. There is only one way to make coal or crude oil, but there are many ways to generate electricity and most of those methods are available via environmentally friendly processes and are 100% renewable.

As we transition to a fully electric end user society, we need to think our way through some very specific problems, problems that can be overcome.

The founder of Nimbus, Storm Williams, was raised in the coal fields of West Virginia. His father died of complications of black lung and lost many uncles to black lung and mining accidents. There is a better way to live.
